Shannon Spake
Shannon Spake was born July 23, 1976. She's a NASCAR reporter and an Fox Sports college and basketball reporter. She has previously worked for ESPN, where she was a SportsCenter contributor providing posts-game and pre-game information. Additionally she served as reporter on the sidelines for ESPN's SEC in ESPN basketball matches and NCAA football matches. Spake also worked for the recently created SEC Network, which is part of ESPN. Prior to joining ESPN, Spake worked at Speed Channel, where she hosted NASCAR Nation in its second version (June until November 2005) and was a reporter for the first edition (February to June of 2005). Along with Marty Smith, she co-hosted Back Seat Drivers (a talk show) together with Marty Smith. Her previous broadcasting jobs included WCCB (Charlotte, North Carolina) as well as Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
