Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. Following that, she travelled to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, but Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Her final fight with this promotion, Ladd fought Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round in the second. She continued to dominate and won a much more convincing victory in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger during the first round and got an outstanding performance bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first major match. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
