Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. Following that, she travelled to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
